PRIME TIME SURGES IN TOY HAULER MARKET
WAKARUSA, INDIANA, April 1, 2016 – The consumer demand for Fifth Wheel Toy Haulers continues to increase—up 15% in 2015 according to Statistical Surveys, Inc. Prime Time Manufacturing continues to excel and outpace this segment, nearly doubling its sales totals from 2014.
“Spartan has passed several long standing brands in retail sales, and has become a top 10 Fifth Wheel Toy Hauler brand according to data from Statistical Surveys, Inc.,” Product Manager Adam Smith notes.
“Our Spartan Fifth Wheels are up substantially in volume and market share,” Smith said. “In response, we have increased production rates multiple times already this year to keep up with our dealers’ demands who have embraced and promoted the full Spartan line up.”
In addition to a committed dealer network, adding industry-first floorplans and unique features such as the MORryde Zero Gravity ramp door, ‘Quick Click’ patio kit, LED lit crown molding, StorMor® cabinet doors and a proprietary sound system have helped bolster Spartan sales, according to Smith.
“We’ve excelled in all price points, having great success with our affordable 300 Series Spartan line as well. This line has notable features that customers want, such as auto-leveling, high gloss fiberglass, patio kits, fuel tanks with nozzle, and plush residential furniture, but at much more attainable price point than other Fifth Wheel Toy Haulers.”
SIX PRIME TIME BRANDS WIN QUALITY CIRCLE AWARDS
WAKARUSA, INDIANA, January 13, 2016 — In a ceremony kicking off the 2015 RVIA trade show in Louisville, Kentucky, held December 1-3, 2015, the Recreation Vehicle Dealers’ Association (RVDA) presented Prime Time Manufacturing with the prestigious Quality Circle Award for the sixth consecutive year.
The DSI survey, which determines the Quality Circle Award winners, rates manufacturers’ performance in four core areas: vehicle reliability/quality, parts support, warranty support and sales. All six Prime Time brands eligible for the award – Avenger, Crusader, LaCrosse, Sanibel, Spartan, and Tracer – were recognized for scoring 80 percent or above in overall dealer satisfaction as measured by RVDA’s Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey.
“We sincerely thank our valued dealer-partners for honoring us with this prestigious award. It’s definitely a huge honor for our employees and there is great pride knowing that we’ve remained perfect in winning the award every year since we started the company,” commented Prime Time Manufacturing president Jeff Rank. “However, 2016 is going to be even better. We are implementing several initiatives company-wide designed to raise the bar on quality and service to a much higher level.”
PRIME TIME ANNOUNCES NEW “FURY” TOY HAULER - Lightweight Design is Half-Ton Towable
WAKARUSA, INDIANA, September 9, 2015 — Prime Time Manufacturing is pleased to announce the newest member of its toy hauler product lineup: the Fury travel trailer
Building on Prime Time’s successful 2014 entry into the toy hauler market when the Spartan fifth wheel series was introduced, Fury has been designed to meet the needs of customers in the swiftly growing half-ton pickup market.
“When you look across the landscape of toy hauler travel trailers, you’ll see most manufacturers claiming to have half-ton towable models,” stated Fury Product Manager Adam Smith. “When, in reality, the only way they are half-ton towable is with nothing in the garage, no cargo in the unit itself, and only one person in the truck. It can be very misleading.”
The Fury, according to Smith, has no such dilemma.
“The largest Fury currently offered is only 7,000 pounds fully equipped. That means a person with a regular half-ton truck or even a Suburban could actually load up their ATV or motorcycles and the rest of their gear and tow the Fury comfortably.”
The Fury lineup, which currently includes a 34’ model with a 10’ closed garage (the 2910) and a 31’ model with an open 14’ 6” garage (the 2614X), aims to hit a more affordable price point, according to Smith.
“We’re excited about this rollout. Fury has an aggressive look and many great features but it’s priced substantially less than most fully laminated products in the market today.” Those features, Smith explained, include 50 Amp Service, 15,000 BTU Air Conditioner, 40” LED TV, Eternabond Construction, Front Storage Rack, Designer Aluminum Wheels, and Happijac lifting sofa system in the garage.
